ZOEC is a Chinese state-owned company engaged in the supply of power plant equipment and contracting of energy projects construction. In 2005, it was contracted to provide equipment for construction of the Kengtawng dam and connecting transmission lines in southern Shan State.
ZOEC is the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor for the Upper Yeywa Dam project on the Namtu (Myitnge) River.
