Description
Surbana Jurong is a Singapore-based urban and infrastructure development consultancy firm set up in 2015, and wholly owned by Temasek, a Singapore state-owned investment firm.
Surbana Jurong began operating in Burma in 2013 and set up an office in Yangon in 2014. By 2016, it was involved in over 40 projects, including the Kyaukphyu Special Economic Zone, in collaboration with China’s CITIC.
In 2016, it acquired 100% ownership of the Australian-based consultancy firm SMEC.
